Slovak producer of mine-sweeping equipment, Way Industries, yesterday, said it had signed a contract to supply five Bozena mine clearing units to Nigeria.
The company’s General Director, Bohuslav Lipovsky, said: “We have just received the results of a tender in Bangladesh in which Slovakia’s Bozena won as well. We are analyzing the details of the tenders as we speak.”
Apart from supplying mine-clearing equipment, the firm specializes in consulting and training soldiers.
Lipovsky said: “Our expert team recently returned from the Golan Heights (Israel), where we provided a tailor-made mine-clearing system. Apart from project work, we also provide consultations and training.”
